Motivation, behavioural and technical interviews
Part of the Consulting learning and recruiting path. Read the explanation and example, attempt the task, then open the self-check.
Know what to learn for your role.
From foundations to a work sample, with sources, tasks and self-checks.
Understand
Connect role motivation with verifiable company facts and personal experience. Use real context, task, personal action, result and reflection for behavioural answers. For technical questions, clarify assumptions, reason and check the answer.
Worked example
“I collaborate well” is a claim. Explaining how you compared conflicting definitions and helped a team choose and recalculate provides evidence.
Examples and numbers are educational, not employer questions, live market data or hiring criteria.
Practise and keep your output
Prepare four truthful stories: collaboration, conflict, failure and initiative. Record each in 90 seconds, then explain and defend a question from this line’s L2–L4 lessons.
Keep inputs and sources, assumptions, steps, results and uncertainties in your own document. Attempt independently before checking below.
After attempting: answer and self-check
Distinguish your actions from the team’s, explain limits, include units in calculations and acknowledge unknowns.
