Integrated cases, personal stories and synthesis
Part of the Consulting learning and recruiting path. Read the explanation and example, attempt the task, then open the self-check.
Know what to learn for your role.
From foundations to a work sample, with sources, tasks and self-checks.
Understand
Answer the client question first, supported by evidence, risks and next steps. Discuss your reasoning during cases. For personal stories, explain context, your own actions, results and learning.
Worked example
A two-store pilot with demand thresholds and a four-week review makes a recommendation testable; market size alone does not.
Examples and numbers are educational, not employer questions, live market data or hiring criteria.
Practise and keep your output
Run a 25-minute original case with a partner and a 90-second synthesis. Prepare truthful conflict and failure stories.
Keep inputs and sources, assumptions, steps, results and uncertainties in your own document. Attempt independently before checking below.
After attempting: answer and self-check
Review framing, structure, arithmetic, interpretation and synthesis. Clearly distinguish your contribution from the team result.
