Before you share: anonymity, consent, and an empty structure
Publication covers only the draft you have checked. Until that draft exists, the experience list stays empty. No incentive is promised.
The date a figure was checked is in the briefing. Confirm it with the department before you rely on it.
An experience Pathline can show in public has to be a draft the author has checked and agreed to publish. A survey, a public forum post, or a social-media post is not rewritten into someone else's story. What follows is the shape of a future contribution. It is not a real account and not a success story. Until such a draft exists, the recruiting-experience list and the research-experience list stay empty.
What anonymity can leave out
You can leave out your name, a student number, a team that would identify you, a supervisor's name, and a pay figure. The university, the year, and the broad kind of role or project stay only in the version you approve. A sentence you have not agreed to publish does not appear.
Anonymity does not mean making the facts look better. No reply, no place, or a process that stopped at a test is written as it happened. A result that did not happen is written as no result.
Consent applies to one draft
Consent covers the draft you have checked paragraph by paragraph. It does not cover the whole chat, and it does not cover a post that is already public. A public post is not permission to adapt it. A research account that is going to be public also needs a separate agreement: no manuscript, no unpublished data, no reference letter, and no one else's personal data.
Someone can draft a cleaned version from short answers you give. That draft is not publication. If you reject a paragraph, reject publication, or stop, the draft does not enter the experience list. Copying an email draft does not mean the email was sent.
No incentive is promised
There is no promised pay, credit, or referral. If an incentive exists later, the amount or the form will be stated before you decide to publish. Reading this note is not consent to be contacted, and it is not a purchase.
The free sample is only a structure
Setting: your stage of study, and whether this round was an internship, a job, or research. No names. What you did: one step you actually sent, submitted, or finished. What followed: including no reply and no place. Boundary: which sentences may be public, and which must be deleted.
The four cells are an empty structure. Do not fill them with something you did not do, and do not fill them with a choice from a survey.
Keep the two paths separate
A recruiting story starts at Share an experience. That flow is for a job application. A research story appears only under Stories and questions after the research path is open, and it still needs an author, a period, a scope, and consent to publish. Do not put a supervisor or a group into the employer and role fields of a recruiting story. Do not put an internship into a research opening.
When the research path is closed, do not force a research story into the recruiting flow just to have a place for it. Write the scope you would allow in a private note, and wait until the experience list accepts drafts under the rules above.
