The role and the cycle

Goldman Sachs opens the Hong Kong investment banking summer analyst window earlier than almost anyone else — in my cycle it opened in mid-March 2026 and the Superday ran in late May, roughly three weeks before JPMorgan's.

The funnel was application, online assessment with a game-based section, HireVue with no retake, one first-round interview, then a Superday with a group exercise. My outcome was an offer in early June 2026.

How the process actually ran

Applied 16 March 2026. Online assessment late March. HireVue in early April. First-round interview in late April. Superday in late May. Offer in early June.

Ten weeks end to end. The compressed calendar is the defining feature: because Goldman decides first, every other offer conversation gets squeezed into a fortnight.
