Prerequisites and goal
A job description, evidence cards and the employer's application and AI rules.
Start with diagnostics; skip explanations you can already apply independently.
Cover requirements with evidence
Map the top three requirements to experience cards before selecting bullets. Write actions, objects, methods and supported results. Motivation needs a link between the work and your experience. Follow the employer's AI rules; absence of a rule does not establish permission to outsource assessments.
Use AI as an editor with a fact ledger
Supply a separate fact ledger. Ask AI to check relevance, repetition and clarity, flagging new claims. Verify numbers, dates, roles, contribution and length. Use clear headings and real terms for ATS readability; a third-party score cannot guarantee passage.
Worked example · fictional
From a problem to inspectable work
Fictional: an operations applicant claims exceptional leadership and an 80% efficiency gain, but only has an attendance-table task.
Remove unsupported impact and explain checks, deduplication and handover.
Connect the supported work to accuracy and process requirements.
Bullet: reconciled registration and attendance records, flagged duplicates and handed over an exception list; no unmeasured impact claim.
Failure case and repair
Accept AI rewrites without checking new numbers.
The draft contains unsupported achievements and responsibilities.
Trace every claim to the fact ledger; remove or flag unsupported material.
