The role and the cycle
Deloitte Hong Kong Deal Advisory internship, 2027 intake. Application in late January 2026, online assessment in February, assessment centre in early March, partner interview in late March.
The Big Four window opens after the banks have already made offers, which shapes who is in the room. My outcome was an offer in early April 2026.
How the process actually ran
Applied 28 January 2026. Online assessment mid-February. Assessment centre early March. Partner interview late March. Offer early April.
Ten weeks, and notably faster than any banking process I know of. No exploding offer deadline either, which was a genuine relief after watching friends juggle investment banking windows.
